Hauterives, France

Combining Ferdinand Cheval's origins in baking and his construction genius, as he thought to use metal structures to support the more complex elements of his edifices, the piece created by Fabrice Hyber, The Edible Cage, is a structure made of bread baguettes, baked bythe resident baker of Hauterives village. Inside this delicate edifice are two lovebirds, who can interact with their environment, by choosing whether to eat it, or to preserve it.
