The Elders holding instruments, Central Arch, Portico of Glory

The tale written text of Saint John in the Apocalypse (4,4): “I saw twenty-four thrones around the main throne, and twenty-four Elders with white robes and gold crowns”, correspond to the figures attached to the great arch of the central tympanum. They are the elder musician that are waiting to start the celestial concert.
