Wells House, a block of forty-eight flats, was designed in 1938 by Lubetkin and Tecton for Finsbury Metropolitan Borough. However, the flats were not built until 1946-9 and to revised plans. The design incorporates a reinforced concrete box frame and has a parabolic roof designed to provide drying facilities.
