"Something that annoys most Spaniards is the españoladas, Don't put a mantilla on your head, our lady, unless it's on Holy Thursday. Do not say rtoreador» instead of bullfighter, nor use the clichés of tambourine and Carmen., to show that the Spanish is familiar to you. La cespañolada is a business of certain Spaniards in the face of a certain naive tourism. You must see typical things to know our folkloric peculiarities and because they, when they are pure, reveal a part of our way of being and, when they are adulterated, of our capacity for distortion, but do not judge before Spaniards, for them, of all of Spanish. You, our dear friend, would look like a bit of a redneck." - Máximo.
