The FA Cup Final, Empire Stadium, Wembley Park, Brent, Greater London

Aerofilms Ltd have captured the action of the 1935 FA Cup Final between Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich Albion. Over 93,000 spectators watched Wednesday defeat West Brom 4-2. The stadium was built for the 1924 British Empire Exhibition. Designed by non-specialists, it had many shortcomings. Later known as Wembley Stadium, it was evolved to become entirely roofed by 1963 and all-seat by 1990. It was demolished and a new Wembley built, opening in 2007.
