Sphinx Hill, or The Egyptian House, was designed by John Outram Associates following a commission by an Egyptologist. It is a modern interpretation of an Egyptian house. Its first-floor living room includes a pyramid fireplace. Work on the house began in spring 1998 and was completed in spring 1999.
