The First Polish Film Festival. In 1974 'Deluge' was the first opening film in the history of the festival, winning the Grand Award “Lwy Gdańskie” (now the Golden Lion). The film also won the Audience Award. The Deluge received very enthusiastic reviews and won the patronage of a multi-million strong audience.
