The first Queen’s Scholars from the Straits Settlements

Dr Percival Locke from Penang helped edit the Straits Chinese Magazine. The scholars reflected the multicultural make-up of the Straits Settlements elite. Dunstan Aeria was a Eurasian from Penang.
