Les Pecheurs
The tapestry shows a fisherman in a tropical and exotic landscape. In the foreground there is clear water with a lot of kinds of fishes, aquatic plants and reptiles on the earth. The fisherman with a red drape on his legs is sitting on the right showing us his back and holding a fishing rod. At the right edge of the scene there is an exotic tree with birds and colourfull flowers; at the opposite left side a palm and a rock wall.Unfortunately due to the colour lost brightness they are keeped in a darkness light; the room known as the Council Chamber hosts this collection of ten tapestries depicting hunting scenes, personal gift of the Grand Master of Spanish origin Ramony Perellos Rocaful.
