Composition in ochre, black, earthy, gray, blue, white and red. Smooth texture. It depicts twenty-one of the founders newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, gathered under the arches of the inner courtyard of Largo Law School of San Francisco, in São Paulo. All wear black jacket, light shirt stiff collar, black tie, as well as pants, except for two who are with light gray pants; have defined facial features, a beard and mustache and other are grouped, occupying almost the entire width of the area of ​​the composition, one of which, on the left foreground, sitting in an armchair, facing the 3/4 on the right next door is a little detached. Still in the foreground, on the right of center, small table, covered with light towel falling to the ground on which they are perched five books.
