Harewood House was built between 1759 and 1771. The central part of the house was designed by John Carr and extensions and wings by Robert Adam. The interiors were created between 1765 and 1777 by Robert Adam.
The Gallery is the largest room at Harewood. It features works of art by Angelica Kaufmann, Thomas Chippendale and Biagio Rebecca.
