The Glory is represented in the space of the archivolts and the tympanum of the central arch. That is to say, that the figures that are to be found there are part of the heavenly entourage. For that reason, their presence is important and the participation that they occupy in this divine space nourishes Master Mateo’s narrative in the Portico of Glory.
