The Great Tower at Balmoral Castle

The clock tower at Balmoral Castle is 80 foot tall and rises to seven storeys. It was planned in the 1850s as part of the accommodation for servants when Queen Victoria and her family spent several months at the castle in the summers. The gardens to the South of the Tower were developed by Queen Mary in the 1920s.
