The Gunhild Cross. A cross carved out of walrus-tusk c 1150. Latin inscriptions name "Luitger, who has carved me at the behest of Helena, also called Gunhild a daugther of the mighty King Sweyn", pressumably Sweyn (Grathe), who died in 1157. The name Gunhild also appears in runic scrift. The figure of Christ from the front side is missing. The reverse is carved with scenes of Doomsday.
