Song Dynasty. It is painted on the silk, (reading Tang juan) . On the painting, the avalokiteshvara holds a willow branch, sitting on the sumeru. She has a plump face and slender figure, wearing a Budda crown. Her left foot steps on the lotus petals and her right foot on the lap. The right hand holds a piece of willow branch. Her expression looks like leisurely. On the upper and lower ends of the right side of the picture, a child holds the lotus leaf, facing the guanyin as flying and jumping. The painting is free from style and belongs to a Song painting of Dunhuang, possibly copied from an old manuscript of the Tang dynasty. Lower left covered "New Inking (long square inking)”.
