The Housemaid (Dir. Kim Ki-Young)

The Housemaid was directed by Kim Ki-young in 1960 and co-produced by Korean Literature Films and Kim Ki-young Production. It is one of director Kim Ki-young’s most representative works, and it is also a work that has deeply inspired many younger filmmakers to this day.
This clip is a scene from The Housemaid, in which the male protagonist (Kim Jin-kyu) confesses his affair with the housemaid in front of his wife (Ju Jeung-ryu).
