View on the Land van Beveren from the Album de Croÿ from 1602. Charles III van Croÿ (1560-1612) assigned surveyor Pierre de Bersaques with this descriptive and visual registration of all his possessions in the Land van Beveren. The flooded polder area between Kallo and Kieldrecht is very visible. The higher grounds at Doel cleary form an island.
