the proposed scheme intends to evoke basic human instinct which will teach visitors and future generations about the consequences of World War I, and the implications it has had and continues to have to this day. The subtle form of the proposed landscape rises gradually in contrast with strong passageways cutting the site in sections and allowing functional connections with various landmarks around the site, strengthening the relationship to the larger urban context.
