According to oral historians, the Durbar procession of horse riders preceding the arrival of the Emir would be led by the Makaman Kano followed by the District heads and their horsemen and courtiers, then by some eminent title holders such as the Madaki, Wali, Sarkin Bai, Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta, Durbi, Sa’i, Ajiya, and the rest. There are also the horse riding team of the Wazirin Kano, and other princes of the emirate.
