Scene from the first production of The King's Threshold by W.B.Yeats depicting Máire Nic Shiubhlaigh as Fedelm (Seanchan's sweetheart) and Frank Fay as Seanchan (Chief Poet of Ireland), 1903. The play was produced at Molesworth Hall in costumes by Annie Horniman. Yeats had invited Miss Horniman to design for the production and sought her financial support for the continuation of the theatrical venture.
