This embossed postcard titled ‘ The Language of Flowers’ shows 18 different flowers and their symbolic meaning. The postcard decodes ‘The Language of Flowers’, a Victorian idea where each variety of flower on a card conveyed a particular sentiment. It was printed by Alfred Stiebel & Co around 1910.
