The Last Supper

Of the monumental altarpieces once found in Dordrecht, very little survives This Antwerp work originally hung in the Grote Kerk (Great Church). In 1572, following the Reformation, it was moved to the town hall. Antwerp painters were much admired in Dordrecht, Willem Key in particular. He included his self-portrait in the bottom right-hand corner.
