The Love Legacy portrays the face of a woman covered partly with her hands. Patterns that bear a resemblance to inkblots appear to cover different parts of the painting which include her hands and face. The hairdo she has on are long braids and some of it is clasped in her hands as she covers the lower part of her face. This is a monochromatic painting as one colour only is used on the entire painting.
