The cardboard dolls are made in Celaya, Guanajuato; They emerged at the end of the 19th century with a great influence from the paper mache dolls that were manufactured in France. Molds made of materials such as clay, cement or plaster are papered. Its body is structured in five pieces: Torso and head together. The two legs and the two arms are articulated by joining these parts of the cord. The skin tone is pink and the makeup is done with strong colors. The costumes allude to the costumes that were used in the 1920s, decorated with flowers of Otomi designs and glitter that imitate the necklaces and earrings that we commonly know.
