Photograph of the production of The Magnificent Lovers (Les Amants Magnifiques). This photo shows the sixth and final interlude. A celebration of Apollo, the ceremony of the Pythian games begins with songs to Apollo's glory, followed by a parade of officials. A great sound from the orchestra announces the god himself, who, surrounded by his entourage, solemnly concludes the ceremony. The choreography was designed by Marie-Geneviève Massé with dancers from the L'éventail company.
