This sutra is written in black ink on paper with fine wusi (crow's feather) strokes. It is complete from beginning to end, with the text having undergone meticulous annotations in red ink. The main theme of this sutra promotes the idea that by copying and reciting the 'Mahāyāna Amitayurdhyana Sutra,' one can attain a long and healthy life in this world and, after death, be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha.
