The amount of time for firing inside the kiln (main firing process) depends on the scale of the kiln (how many baking chambers it has). Pieces are first fired inside the firing chamber for 15 hours, but may require a further 30 hours of firing if there are five baking chambers. The firing temperature is between 1,260 and 1,280˚C, which is maintained by using pine wood as a fuel. After firing, the firing chamber is sealed tight and the fired pieces are removed from the kiln after having cooled one entire day to five days (final finish).
