The Making of Marmaree

An Oromo woman is in the process of making the Oromo cultural food Marmarree. She is pouring butter on the small circular breads in the Chocho. Carved from wood and strengthened with leather, the Chocho is decorated in colorful beads and cowries known as Callee and Elellan respectively.
