The making of Monumenti: Porcelain

For the site specific exhibition Monumenti by Liu Jianhua, the artist has collaborated with some local artisans. For the exhibition there were more then 2000 porcelain flowers all around the cloister. The tecnique is the bisquit porcelain, a very old tradition from Capodimonte in Naples. The fragility and beauty of this flowers, rapresents the conditions of migrants.
