THE MEETING BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT

First art work done in the neighbourhood, held on 10/2016, in order to act as a "teaser" of urban art, starting the work of raising awareness of the local community for the MURO 2017 Festival. It portrays a vision on Portuguese history, in a meeting between past and present. We see the explorer, with the ship and the book, in an allusion to the Portuguese Discoveries, and a younger woman with the carnations in her hand, symbol of Freedom and Revolution of April 25 th. In her clothing are also represented motifs alluding to Portuguese tiles.
