The coronation celebrations of 1896 were key public holidays. The whole celebration was organized in the "Russian style", which meant the continuity of the traditions of the Romanovs' house. Even the menu for the royal feast was designed by famous artists - for example, V.M. Vasnetsov. The menu included pies, Russian soup, chicken fillet with truffles and artichokes with mushrooms. On the left side of the image we see the imperial flag and the monogram of the names of the emperor and empress. Ornamental vaults of the Russian tower frame postcard views of the Russian Empire. In the right corner is a table with a loaf and salt, next to a brother and a goblet of wine, and a scarlet griffin hovers above the table.
