In this typical music group, a woman dressed in an elegant white silk gown is seated at the harp; a second woman is seated at the piano; a man, standing, plays the violin; and another man, seated, plays the cello. The family spaniel looks on. The walls appear to be of gray stucco (?) with a classical frieze at the top. The floor is stenciled in a colorful circular pattern.
