The National Festival of the Germans at Hambach

Following the Hambach Festival in May 1832, Johann Georg August Wirth published an official description of the Festival. In addition to the invitation and some introductory texts, the publication also contains a reprint of the songs sung at the Festival, welcome addresses, and speeches given. The speeches were not fully recorded, however, as Wirth considered some content to be too radical. At least four of the texts are missing.
