The Library is situated in Aberystwyth, on the Ceredigion coast, and arguably has one of the best views of any Library in the world, looking out over Cardigan Bay.
The National Library of Wales is one of the world’s great libraries. Established in 1907 and located in an iconic building in Aberystwyth, the Library houses a priceless collection of books, rare manuscripts, paintings and maps, and plays host to a regular programme of events and exhibitions exploring the heritage and culture of Wales and the Celtic nations.
