Grigore Cerchez, a prominent figure of the Neo-Romanian architecture, modified the northern wing of the Cotroceni Palace by adding a large room (The Royal Dining Room) with a terrace on top and two gazebos with columns. One of them is considered to be a replica of the Dionysus’s gazebo of the Hurez monastery.
