The Neukirche in Leipzig

The New Church was one of Leipzig's side churches. Here, too, the Thomaner sang in the Sunday service. Instead of Bach's cantatas, simpler motets from the choir's repertoire sounded in the New Church. The building was destroyed during the Second World War.
