Nyishi women drape themselves with a cotton mantle around the body and tie one portion at the right shoulder and keep open the left shoulder. They tie a red cloth around the waist with decorative borders, and wear a waistband with metal disks and cane garters. The wear a white cape. They standout with their graceful traditional white and red dresses, metal waistbands, silver ornaments, and coloured bead necklaces. They wear silver/ brass bracelets, silver earrings, bead necklaces, and head bands made of honey wax. Most of the Nyishi women carry a basket on their back to pick firewood or grains from the fields.
