The Old Mill, Stott Park Bobbin Mill

This is the first floor of the Old Mill. This area was the main production area of the Old Mill. There was 25-30 machines located up here. After the new lathe shop was built, the final processes of bobbin manufacture were moved here: gluing, staining, cleaning, counting and polishing. There are some examples of the bobbins which were made at the Mill
