The War Memorial at Harrow School was designed by Herbert Baker and was opened by Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin on 3 June 1926. It includes a shrine dedicated to the 642 alumni of the school who were killed during the First World War. This view shows the room above the shrine, its decoration funded by Lady Fitch in memory of her son Alexander, who was killed in France in September 1918.
