The Peplos Kore.

Leading work of an Attic workshop, with harmonious proportions. She owes her name to the type of garment she wears (peplos). It is possible the statue does not represent a Kore, but the Goddess Artemis with arrows and a bow in her hands. Marble from the island of Paros.
