Pianist, born in Sweden, later Danish nationality, she started her studies with Professor Gunnar Hallhagen at an early age. Later, in Florida (USA) she studied with Professor Harold Sanford – disciple of Joseph Lhevinne. She studied with Professor Stanislav Knor and graduated with honours in Piano Performance and Pedagogics of Piano and Chamber Music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. She has been awarded several first prizes in competitions, like ‘Den Kungliga Musikaliska Akademis Utlands Stipendium’ and has been developing an intense concert activity in Portugal and abroad. She teaches Piano and Chamber Music at the Conservatório de Música do Porto since 2000. Her dedication and knowledge has inspired many of her students whose effort and passion have been recognised with many awards. Her professional activity includes conducting master classes and is frequently invited as adjudicator in national and international Piano Competitions. Rosgard is a member of the International Academy of Performing Arts and Science (I.A.P.A.S) since 2014.
