The Piasek Island Church

Piasek, Piaskowa Island - one of the Oder islands within the historic Wrocław Old Town and the Upper City Water Junction. It is connected to the left bank of the Oder and the Old Town by the Piaskowy Bridge, to Ostrów Tumski by the Tumski Bridge, and to the German bank and the Mill Island by the Mill Bridges. In addition, a walking trail runs from Piasek Island to Słodowa Island via the Piaskowa Footbridge. The southwestern part of the island, cut off from another channel with the Sand Lock, is known as Daliowa Island.
