The Picnic Room, used by King George III and his family for impromptu breakfast, tea and occasionally dinner. The wall murals which climb up and across the ceiling with their pattern of climbing bamboo, convolvulus and nasturtiums were painted by Princess Elizabeth (1770-1840), daughter of King George III, in c1804.
