The Playhouse

Having to accommodate the needs of a variety of genres, ranging from drama, ballet, musical, contemporary dance to chamber opera, the Playhouse was built with moveable floors, walls and ceilings in order to be configured as a proscenium style or an open-apron style. Moreover, to achieve the sense of unity between the stage and the audience, seating arrangement of up to 24 seats was adopted.
