Three figures define a paradisiacal equilibrium that the artist came to know for a short period. The poet, the artist's self-projection, holds a branch with a dreamy look as he lays on his loved one's lap. An almost immaterial angel appears close to them as a symbol of inspiration and tranquillity. The allegoric dimension is complete. Transformed into symbols of a personal grammar that Eloy developed more intensely during the last years of his life, the figures that inhabit the overtly codified space of the painting configure the possibility of the stabilisation and interval within a process of disintegration of meaning itself.
