The Port of London

Charles W Wyllie was a versatile landscape and marine painter. Like his brother William Lionel, he specialised in views of docks and harbours. He is know to have painted a number of scenes on the Thames in and around London. This view, from the south bank, looks up river towards St. Paul’s in the distance.
