This pot styled like the figure of a seated monkey has a low relief moulding with incised and painted detail in black , cream, white . The face is dark beige and spout is reddish brown. Depictions of monkey is a recurring theme in the pottery of northern Peru. This vessel is modeled like a seated monkey with a serving bowl and has a spout on top. The pot, or the monkey figure, has been brilliantly painted all over. Modeled in low relief with incised features, the figure's legs have been conceived as a bit elongated fashion. The hands holds a bowl-like object in the left, and a fruit-like thing, in the right. Divergent forms encapsulating bowls, jars with a wide range of figures, spouted pots with handles.
