The Qawwali Project - An Untold Story

This protest was largely led by women, mainly Muslim women and yet the tented venue drew large crowds of protesters of all religions and both genders participating. Poetry and music became the voice of the people protesting at the venue. Qawwali a highly adaptive form became a means of making a social statement.
