These large organ shutters, destined to the sanctuary of Santa Maria di Campagna in Piacenza, represent the meeting between the king Salomon and the queen of Saba, both elegantly dressed and with their servants. The scene, symmetrically balanced, takes place in the background of two crimson curtains, which give a theatrical atmosphere to the scene. The monumental figure shows classical models together with a strong naturalism.
