These cottages in Swindon's Railway Village were built in 1846-7 for workers employed at the nearby Great Wester Railway Works. Each dwelling is one bay wide and two rooms deep. Brick lean-tos were added to the rear in the 20th century. The cottages were extensively renovated in circa 1974.
